Why it's so out of our reality you ask? Because the first 95% of the times we genuinely meant those words were either rejected or ridiculed. Thus we close of the possibility to protect what is remaining. Now that I'm older I came to realize how a compliment can change a person and if I really think someone is cute or beautiful I tell them, even if it's just a passer-by. But if you're young it's hard to reflect in those directions. I closed of the possibility of romance in my life a long time ago so I don't mind just making people around me more happy, even if I get a stupid reaction to it.

Others are annoying as hell and you just want to punch them in the face (not advocating hitting kids, it's just that is the best way to describe the feeling that I can come up with atm).
