There is a Lycoris Recoil animation project still in production (maybe season 2). And on the topic of if they're are a romantic couple. Nothing full on confirmed but there is alot of hints that suggests they are more than just best friends. The Lycoris Recoil Light novel sheds some light on how they feel for each other. And in the the Lycoris recoil february 2023 event they did a "kinda" 14th episode where the VAs are acting out an event that happens after episode 13 and they remember all the times they had and actually go on a "date" to the bar they snuck in to. They also did another live event where they are acting out a scene where Takina and Chisato take a job that requires them to wear wedding dresses. The "14th episode" and wedding dress job are both fan translated.
