One little detail that the showrunners put in, is that each Semblance has a unique sound effect to it. So the audience gets a better idea of when it is being used. Here we see Pyrrha using hers, with a sound effect of a low electric hum. If you go back and listen for that sound in earlier episodes, you get to hear her using it whenever she brings her weapon to hand, like after pinning Jaune to the locker room wall, or when jumping over the Deathstalker (giant scorpion) after Nora nailed its tail spike.
