im honestly really having a hard time reconciling both versions of shizuka, im very very confused. its almost as if marina's death something flipped within her and she can now justify removing peole from her path pretty much. and poor azuma man. someone remove all the adullts from this show and we'd all be happier for it istg.

The moment Shizuka lost Chappy is the moment she spiraled. Her last anchor to the world is gone and she has nothing left. All her behavior so far is learned from her environment. Her lack of care of others is learned from how people around her acted towards her.

2025-08-07 03:10:28 +0000 UTCI think you're on the money about Shizuka not thinking of anyone but herself because all the adult figures around her have never shown empathy towards her or anyone else. I also think because Chappy is the only thing that she sees as valuable, and because he's missing that is the *only* thing that she is worried about. All the kids on this show are just completely broken and all the adults need to be locked up.
