2025-08-24 08:44:56 +0000 UTCI love this show so much and I love that it's getting more into explaining cosplay and it's culture in Japan. It reminds me of another anime I adore called "2.5 Dimensional Seduction" it's also about cosplay and dives into events and the culture a bit more, but doesn't really cover outfit making too much. It's a great anime, and is super popular in Japan, but like no one talks about it in the west. It's also heavy on the fan service, like SUPER heavy (The Manga even shows bare breasts but the anime censors it out) but if you can get past that, it then hits you with mega feels outta nowhere, although I don't know if you'd be able to get past the fan service given how much there is. You can try giving it a chance at some point if ya want it has 24 episodes and a 2nd season which got greenlit before the first even finished airing, so people do love it, it seems. Back to Dress-Up though, the fact that it is explaining more about photo taking and events I love since it helps people who don't know much about it actually get to know through the lens of a cute, wholesome, little romance anime with some little goobers along the way, great show man!
