POLL - Next Standard Plugin

Standard plugins are plugins that are expected to require about 2-4 months worth of work. Please note that since development can have unexpected surprises, there is no guarantee that this plugin will be completed in the given time frame.

For the next [CGMZ] Standard Plugin, would you like to see...

Message Log - Allow your players to better remember what was said in dialogue by keeping a log of it! It would keep track of messages sent through the Show Text event command, and allow for manually adding text to the log for text said through other means (such as third party text boxes). In the future, it may have options for separating different messages, such as separating treasure chest / item received messages into a different category, but this is not likely for the initial alpha launch.

Jukebox - This plugin would add a new scene to your game where the player could browse music they have collected. They can also change the BGM via this scene as they select a music they want to listen to. There would be a plugin command that you can call to get the current BGM the player selected via the jukebox, so you could event things differently depending on which track is currently playing.

Notepad - This plugin would add a notes scene where the player could select a note slot and then type anything they want into the note using the keyboard. This would allow the player to write things down in game if they feel the need to remember it later.

Recruitment Board - Recruit your actors from a shop-like interface where players will be able to see the actor, their class, their starting level, and a short description that they can then select to see a full breakdown of the actor and how much it costs to recruit them to the party. After being recruited, the actor would disappear from the recruitment board.

Ring Menu - This would replace the default menu with a ring menu, which shows icons in a circle along with a helper window to explain what the icon currently selected is for. You would be able to link together ring menus, for example you might have a ring menu with an option for "Skill" that then led to a ring menu of the actors in the party you could select from to choose which actor's skills you wanted to view.

Item Screen Customizer - This would allow you to customize how your item screen looks. Options may include control over window size and positioning, more info in the help window, an icon-based select window, and control over the command window to add custom categories of items. Not all of the listed features may be present during initial alpha launch.
