New Releases

[CGMZ] Footsteps - Play a footstep sounds when the player moves. You can change the sound based on the tile the player is on, so you can have a wood sound for inside a house or a snow sound for outside in the snow. Sounds can have variance added to the volume, pitch, and pan so the sound varies slightly each time. Link: https://www.patreon.com/posts/cgmz-footsteps-108212317

[BGM] Temple of the Lamia - A looping ancient dungeon theme. Your actors will need to brave the dangers of the past if they wish to succeed in their journey, and this tune can help immerse the player in the dungeon while fighting enemies and solving ancient puzzles. Alpha Plugin Updates

[CGMZ] Conditional Drops - This plugin was updated to version Alpha R2, which included a map id condition and an integration with [CGMZ] Currency System. Your drops can now only drop from specific maps as well as drop custom currencies. Link: https://www.patreon.com/posts/70695498

[CGMZ] Fishing - This plugin was updated to allow for land fishing! You can now fish without being in a vehicle, as long as you are facing water as determined by ship passage settings for the water tile. Controller support was also added, along with options to rumble the controller via [CGMZ] Rumble integration. Finally, some plugin commands were added to get the amount of fish caught. [CGMZ] Press Start - This plugin was updated to make it live up to its name: you can now require the actual start button to be pressed to progress past this screen instead of any input. Of course, you can also accept any input or any other buttons as well via new plugin parameters for which inputs are accepted. A sound effect was also added when start is pressed. [CGMZ] Message System - This plugin was updated to add a text code that allows you to rumble the player's gamepad via a [CGMZ] Rumble integration. Integrations with [CGMZ] Enemy Upgrade and [CGMZ] Actor Upgrade were also added for text codes to display an enemy name + icon and an actor name + icon. Link: https://www.patreon.com/posts/86064608

[CGMZ] Picture Gallery - With this update you can allow your players to download and save the pictures viewable in the gallery to their PC, available on any deploy target including web deploys. This also added customizable "New!" marker text for categories that had new pictures that had not been viewed, and marker text for the list window for the new pictures. [CGMZ] Dungeon Tools - This plugin had a new tool type added: the lantern tool! Not only does it show a light effect on the player via [CGMZ] Light Effects integration, but it also reveals hidden events by turning event self switches ON/OFF based on the event distance from the player. You can use this to create ghosts, hidden paths over pits, and tons of other unique mechanics for your game. This update also added items being required to use tools, and the option to consume an item when the tool is used. A plugin command to use the current tool was added. You can also stun events that have [CGMZ] Event Movement routes with the arrow, boomerang, and hookshot tools. Link: https://www.patreon.com/posts/55843413

[CGMZ] Mailbox - This plugin now allows you to mark when attachments were on a piece of mail but were already collected. Previously, the attachments section would disappear completely when collected. You can also now automatically turn a switch ON when a letter is read. The windows in the mailbox scene now have configurable windowskins, padding, background opacity, and tone parameters. [CGMZ] Menu Customizer - This update adds the new Custom layout option, which together with column-like positioning allows you to customize down to the individual piece of information (such as actor class) what to display and where to display it within the actor rectangle. The default layouts of horizontal, square, and vertical were left as simple alternatives in case you want an easy pre-made layout to use. Beta Plugin Updates

[CGMZ] Battle Weather - This plugin was updated to add the option to automatically save and then replay the map's weather after battle. This can make weather changes for battle seamless with any map weather that may differ from what plays during battle. Link: https://www.patreon.com/posts/69046905

[CGMZ] Encounter Conditions - This plugin was updated to add armor and weapon equips to the condition list. You can now force the player to wear certain equipment to encounter an enemy, which could be used to equip some kind of quest item before they can encounter the quest monster. [CGMZ] Autosave Enhancement - This update adds window options for the autosaving window, you can now customize its window skin, padding, background opacity, and tone. Link: https://www.patreon.com/posts/77783060

[CGMZ] Battle Result Events - Previously, you used to have one common event to run your victory, loss, and escape events with that you would differentiate by conditional branch and variables. Now, you can configure separate common events for each result. This should make your events much easier to create and debug. Link: https://www.patreon.com/posts/68207051

Free Plugin Updates

[CGMZ] Core - This month's core updates brought some new utility functions. Some repeat custom math operations were added, as well as an easy meta reader and a function to get distance between characters. These were things implemented in various [CGMZ] plugins and will begin being used by [CGMZ] plugins soon. It is recommended to always keep the core up to date. [CGMZ] Sound IDs - This plugin was fully released out of Beta this month! It is now free for all, but it did get a minor update to accompany this change in that it will now warn if your sounds have a blank id parameter as this would cause errors when trying to play the sound later. [CGMZ] Crafting - Have so many recipes that the player easily gets overwhelmed trying to search the list for the recipe they are looking for? Solve this problem by allowing the player to filter the recipe list! You can now optionally allow filtering by category (profession), subcategory, and quality. Filters can differ by category as well. Beyond filters, this update also added [CGMZ] Rumble integration for craft success/fail, a separate display name parameter, and options for the progress window including option to show time remaining or customize the decimals shown in craft percent progress. Other

As always, there were numerous polls that came and went during this month. The next small plugin was voted on with the winner being [CGMZ] World Map. You can look forward to this plugin being available sometime in August.
