Trying to not let the fates of her friends be in vain, Asuka continues on alone. She carefully makes her way through the caves, looking up for ceiling worms and everywhere else for hungry predators. Unfortunately, the danger is below the seemingly dry, cracked ground.

友の死を無駄にせぬよう、あすかは独りで進む。洞窟を慎重に抜け、天井のワームや飢えた捕食者を警戒しながら。しかし危険は、乾いてひび割れた地面の下に潜んでいた。

The realizes that the ground isn't as solid as it looks, but didn't think too much of it other than it being disgusting. She was careful not to slip and lose her balance.

地面が見た目ほど固くないことに気づいたが、気持ち悪いという以外には特に気に留めなかった。滑ってバランスを崩さないよう、彼女は慎重に歩を進めた。

She continues to walk forward, but the mud seems to become deeper and stickier the more steps she took.

彼女は歩き続けるが、一歩進むごとに泥は深くなり、粘り気が増していくようだった。

Unfortunately one false step is what it took, as the mud gave away under her weight, her left leg sinking up to her knees and coating her socks in heavy mud.

残念ながら、たった一歩の誤りが致命傷となった。泥が彼女の体重に耐えきれず崩れ、左足が膝まで沈み込み、靴下は重たい泥で覆われた。

She attempts to shift her weight to free her legs, but the more she wriggles, the deeper she seems to sink.

彼女は体重を移動させて足を解放しようと試みるが、もがけばもがくほど、ますます深く沈んでいくように感じられる。

She attempts to push herself out, but ends up causing her arms to become stuck. Try as she might, she continues to sink, and disappears like the rest of her friends.

彼女は自らを押し出そうとするが、結局両腕が挟まってしまう。必死に抵抗しても沈み続け、他の仲間たちと同じように姿を消した。
