thanks for the heads up! we started these because a lot of people asked but we didn't realize that a lot of it would just be random fluff.. was hoping it would get better by now but i think we will have to reconsider how we approach these because most of the information isn't relevant like you said 😣

2025-09-19 01:34:27 +0000 UTCPersonal opinion, with the current rate you're reading the SBS it will take you more than a full year to catch up with all the info in the SBS that is extremely relevant to the story and has some parts that make the story make more sense since Oda dropped massive story information in the SBS and then later on the studio mentioned it casually in the anime so you might not even understand the reference because you have not caught up with the all the canon information mentioned in the SBS volumes. The first volumes (pre time skip) which you guys are reading now is basically chitty chats and fan mail, nothing important to the story itself except for maybe a few questions here and there, later on it becomes extremely relevant and straight to the point. It's your choice of course, but I believe the story is much more enjoyable when you know what you know during the moment, not later on when it has passed.
