Grimmjow says "im the king" which also parallels to Ichigo and his hollow remember the "king and his horse speech". We can see their philosophies clashing, Grimmjow as a hollow is animalistic and destructive opposite of Ichigo. Ichigo at the end had a stronger resolve which is why Grimmjow looked defeated at the end. Bleach is all about the thematic writing subtleties one of the many reasons I love it.
