A Super Basic APEX video

Houdini 20 is out! One of the big new foundations SideFX is building that is first seeing light of day in Houdini 20 is APEX. It is still very much early days for APEX, and I wouldn't recommend anyone pass judgement or try to immediately dive deep into it unless you are really daring, but it's good to start to wrap your head around what it is and how it can currently be used, as well as some of the ideas from SideFX on how it will be used going forward. So I tried my best to figure out some basics and make this quick video on it. I am still a total apex noob and again, it is very early, so don't stress if this stuff seems too scary or buggy for now, but hopefully over the following years and Houdini releases, apex will become a really awesome new framework that will help improve many aspects of Houdini and allow for some awesome tools to be build in it.

Hey Chris, thanks so much for this, man. Any chance you've experimented with FBX files with animations, or a Mixamo FBX with animation? I've just been working on some crowd and ragdoll animations for fun but when I try to adjust the mesh/skeleton of a Mixamo character using this method, my skeleton looks super whaaacky when I use fktransform. Any ideas why this is?
