Yep I never had a tv in my room for this reason, I need complete silence to fall asleep (or Kโs sleep audios ๐ฅฒ). I used to have sleep overs as a kid with a friend who slept with the radio on. Drove me nuts. Tv is so distracting when youโre trying to talk to someone for sure!

2022-09-05 09:56:50 +0000 UTCOh my gosh, Iโm the same way! ๐ If Iโm trying to sleep, or have a conversation, or just be social, there can NOT be a tv on because it will just constantly pull focus for me, and my brain will keep trying to watch it no matter how boring or unappealing the show ๐๐ I will always ask now if people mind if I just turn the show off while we talk, because I donโt like being distracted when I want to be social, especially if the show is terrible ๐๐ Or Iโll deliberately put my back to the tv to minimize it if thatโs not an option :P
