2024-07-22 00:32:18 +0000 UTCshaving your partner is such an intimate experience… let’s ditch the electric and go full manual- i imagine sitting in your lap facing you, gently lathering you up and massaging your face, lots of eye contact (while totally focusing on what i’m doing), firmly holding your face in my hand as I take a razor slowly to your skin, taking a warm wet towel to clean off the remaining shaving cream, giving you soft kisses on the freshly bare skin while maybe grinding in your lap jusssst a little, then maybe you’ll let me feel that bare skin somewhere else 😽

So at the end of it it's still beard, it's just a short one. Or maybe it's more long stubble? But definetly more than five o'clock shadow.

Starting in my early teens i helped my mom take care of my dad at home after he was diagnosed with what they now call Early Onset Alzheimer's. One of my tasks was to keep him from looking like a total and complete wild man. i loved doing it because it was often one of the few things that would calm his adjitation and i liked being able to give his mind those few quiet moments.... i don't have very many good memories with my dad, but those were. The sound of that razor coming on rocketed me right back there after all these years, to moments when i had a purpose. So, dearest K, whilst some of Your Girls have understandable tears in their eyes because of the loss of a lot of that beard of yours (myself, i truly like the idea of a wee trim), my tears are because you've once again sprinkled your magic over something so simple and touched one of us in another unexpected way. If you should see this, K, i just wanted you to know that. 🪄 🩵☘️🥀
