Added 2024-11-26 03:25:07 +0000 UTCit’s just past midnight, and the kitchen feels like its own little world. i’m focused on preparing the turkey, making sure every detail is perfect, while you stand at the counter, arranging dishes and silverware with such careful thought. the excitement is palpable, but so is the nervous energy, both of us wanting tomorrow to go perfectly. as we work side by side, knowing that by this time tomorrow, our home will be filled with family, friends, laughter, and everything we’ve worked so hard to create. in this quiet moment, it feels like we’re building something special, something truly ours.

2024-11-28 13:40:01 +0000 UTChe speaks🗣️ 0:00-end special mentions (thanksgiving version): happy thanksgiving everyone. i just wanted to take a moment to say that this year i am thankful for k and this kingdom with so many wonderful people. i'm thankful for k's persistence and strength during what was some really challenging months this late spring/summer. i'm thankful for all the hard work and dedication k puts into every single kaudio, stream (rip), and everything else he does - it doesn't go unnoticed, and it's truly admireable. i'm thankful for all the stream laughs and tears (on our side bc the man likes to get deeep), and for the few times we were able to play fortnite 🫶🏻 i'm thankful for all the beautiful and strong people i have met in this kommunity. i'm thankful for all the memories we have created in the server (like the april fools/birthday hand reveal), and for the most iconic disneyland kingdom meetup with gabby and colleen in september. i'm thankful for yet another year of being a part of this kommunity, and i'm looking forward to many more years. i love and appericate all of you so much 💗

2024-11-26 04:33:06 +0000 UTCAs a Canadian it seems very strange to have thanksgiving just a month before Christmas! Like, for us, Thanksgiving is an autumn holiday. A chill in the air but usually not *too* cold. Colourful leaves on the trees. Fall-themed decor & table settings. Fall family photos. Etc ….. We’re in full Christmas mode now! Where I am the snow is knee-deep. It’s -20C tonight. My house is decked with Christmas decor. My kids are in their Christmas jammies and we’re singing carols and decorating cookies and doing all the Christmas crafts and reading all the Christmas books. The idea that Thanksgiving and Christmas overlap/blend together in the States, or at least are so close together, is bizarre to me. (Although I totally understand that it’s just normal for y’all and you probably think WE’RE the weird ones 😜)
