Added 2024-12-06 06:45:16 +0000 UTCit’s a cold winter night, and i wake up shivering, realising you’ve managed to steal all the covers in your sleep. i gently nudge you awake, whispering softly as i try to tug a bit of the blankets back for myself. instead of letting go, you turn over and cuddle into me, the warmth of your touch chasing away the chill. we lie there, wrapped up in each other, sharing the heat that the stolen covers couldn’t provide. as the quiet of the night settles around us, we talk softly, wondering if tomorrow will bring a snow day. your voice grows slower, softer, until the rhythm of your breathing lulls me back to sleep, the cold forgotten in the comfort of you.
