One year ago...

TL;DL: Merry Christmas! And I'll need a bit more time to release the next update.

Long post:

A year ago, I was preparing to launch the very first build. Everything was new to me, and I did (and I still do) lots of mistakes. But I can proudly say that this game is one of the best things that happened to me, I got to know lots of awesome people, and I also got to know myself, discovering my real passion, and I actually feel that each month I'm learning new things about game developing.

I have to admit it. This game has been criticized and, during the first months, I was a little concerned about the general opinion, especially because of the extreme content. But thanks to your incredibly positive feedback, all these concerns fade away completely.

I've already talked about this privately with some of you: I guess it's human nature to, even when you've got a thousand compliments and one bad review, you can't help to focus on that bad review. After all, this game is like "my baby", and I guess we can all agree that no one would like to hear someone talking shit about your baby.

But as I said, all your support made my mind shift from "Maybe this game is not so good after all" to "There are a lot of people (INCLUDING MYSELF!) eager to see more content! And there are even people who like it so bad that they are supporting me on Patreon!". So right now, I'm VERY PROUD of this game 😁, and I've already interiorized that I can't please everyone, so all non-constructive criticism has zero effect on me now.

I'm telling you all of this because I want you to know that, a year ago, I thought I was just a programmer with a dirty mind, I didn't know I was an "artist". But I do now. And if I've gone this far, it's only because of you. So thank you from the bottom of my heart.

And rest assured, this project will go on and will never be abandoned (I know some people are especially worried about this. Don't be! This game is my "comfort zone", why would I ever get out of here? 😂).

Now, about this month's update:

As most of you know, I have very small kids under my care, and other IRL responsibilities to attend to. And this is often a setback (especially the former). I wanted to do lots of things during this month, but I won't even be able to finish Victoria's fight (the very first item on my to-do list).

I know you might think, "Don't be so hard on yourself! Take your time and don't rush things, we rather wait a bit and see a quality update", but it's against my nature to make false promises, so I can't help to feel a bit bad about this.

Anyway, as I did with Aisha, this month I'll just post a short video with the current under-construction battle against Victoria. And, after I'm done with that, I'll publish the update as a stable build, leaving all the additional content I wanted to add for the following update.

I'm not forgetting about Aisha's slavery or the poll about Sophia's additional content! I just don't want to stay more than three months without publicly publishing updates. I need people to try the new stuff, after all!

Sorry for the cheesy wall of text, I'm also a human being and I need to express my emotions once in a while!

Thanks again to everyone, supporter or not, who took the time to play my game. And special thanks to all of you who also took the time and consideration to give me your feedback and personal opinion; that helps me a lot to grow; as a dev and as a person. I'll try to make fewer promises this year.
