Just reread the whole comic again, and I think they have met before, but Max has erased her memory of their meeting (cause he knew her name thehe). He's saying he never fed on her but doesn't say he never tampered with her mind ;) also he looked at her scar and then backed off... so maybe he has something to do with her accident...AHHHH this comic is so good Nym!!!!
