Added 2025-01-14 01:56:13 +0000 UTCi walk through the door, finally home after my work trip, a day later than planned. when i find you in bed, wrapped in blankets, the look you give me says everything. you missed me, even if you are trying to pretend otherwise, the hint of frustration softened by how much you wanted me home. you pull me into bed without hesitation, your arms tight around me, your warmth sinking into me as i tell you about the delays and everything that kept me away. i mention wanting to get out of my travel clothes, but before i can move, you hold me closer, making it clear i am not going anywhere. there is plenty i need to make up for, and from the way you look at me, it is clear exactly how this night is going to end. so i stay, focusing on you, making sure you know just how much i missed you too.
