I never feel my age and get ridiculed a bit over it and I get very self conscious about it. It's been such a struggle. It's so amazing people online are able to meet up: in this community and other community's I'm a part of. I just hope one day to find that as well. In the meantime it's so true that K is a master at what he does and has helped connect WITH people as well as connect others with each other. It's a beautiful thing

2025-01-31 03:21:11 +0000 UTCok i’m gonna mush for a sec 🥺 my birthday was tuesday and it was a scary number. and every year i dread the day because i’m scared of time passing and i don’t feel my age — i just want to stay babygirl forever. but this year was different. the bestie i met in this space came to stay with me in NYC for 5 days. we explored the city i call home, she met my friends (who knew our lore), and for the first time in a really long time, i was excited to celebrate my birthday. one of the most special things K does is connect people who maybe have a little piece missing that they find in someone else. and this year, a day that’s usually hard for me was filled with more love because my missing piece was there. this audio is such a sweet reminder that birthdays are about celebrating your own little place in the world with people who love you and look forward to growing with you. and i really needed that this year <3

(This’ll be a long comment so sorry in advance) we were talking about getting older and my friend revealed to me that I’m the only person who’s ever celebrated her birthday. nobody else ever made the effort, and as she got older, she just stopped seeing the point in it all together. I told her that I'd always try and make her feel special on her birthday in whatever way I can because to me it’s not about aging at all but about showing love and appreciation and just celebrating HER in general! (we cried) Anyways, this audio is beautiful (Thank you, Mr. FBI man). In this crazy life, I hope we all find partners and friends that choose to celebrate us like this, even in the smallest ways. <3
