Added 2025-04-04 03:55:00 +0000 UTCi’m laying in bed, playing a game, when i feel you collapse onto the mattress beside me with that dramatic sigh. i know you, something’s wrong. i immediately ask, and sure enough, you’re putting off taking a shower. not because you don’t want to do it. but because you feel like it’s gonna take more energy then you feel like spending right now. it feels like work, and you’re exhausted after a whole day full of it. i understand completely sweetheart. so i offer to join you, thinking maybe that’ll help, maybe that’ll give you a little motivation. but you just look at me, seeing right through it, like you always do. still, i’m getting up, i’m going, and it’s happening. with or without you but i’d much rather it be with you.
