Added 2025-04-24 07:00:11 +0000 UTCit’s late, and you’re walking home. you didn’t want to take an uber, even after i insisted on covering it. when you call me tonight, it’s not because anything’s wrong. it’s just a little spooky out and you wanted to hear my voice. i get it. nights like this always make me wish even more that we were in the same city. that there weren’t all these miles between us. i’d pick you up every time if i could. i’d never let you walk home alone. but until we’re in the same place and i can do that for real, a phone call will have to do.
