Added 2025-05-09 02:52:31 +0000 UTCyou were freaking out at home and needed me, but you weren’t sure if i was too busy to call. you took a chance, and when my phone rang, i picked up to the sound of your voice, nervous, a little panicked. you needed me right then, needed me to calm you down, to remind you that you’re okay. you told me you miss me, and i miss you too. i’ll be home in the next four hours, but that’s not soon enough. you want me there now, and god, i want that too. i sneak as much time as i can without getting myself in trouble at the office. just hearing my voice helps you breathe, and hearing yours reminds me what’s waiting for me at home.
