Added 2025-06-13 06:00:14 +0000 UTCyou were already fast asleep by the time i came to bed. you were curled around your pillow and sleeping so soundly that i couldn't bring myself to wake you. i give you a kiss and whisper, "i love you, goodnight," in your ear so you can just stay asleep. a few hours later, though, you wake to find me next to you with no recollection of me saying goodnight, which is a cardinal sin. you wake me up pouting, annoyed that i allegedly didn't say goodnight or i love you tonight. apparently, it doesn't count if you're asleep and unable to hear it, so let me say goodnight properly this time.
