you've been stressing about today all week, and i completely get it. meeting my friends is a big deal, and you're worried about whether they'll like you and how everything will go. you don't need to worry about a thing; they're going to love you as much as i do, i just know it. besides, today is meant to be fun. we're going to the beach to hopefully eat good food, hang out with friends, sit in the sand, and watch the waves. we even brought speakers for the bonfire tonight. there was talk of fireworks, but hopefully that doesn't happen again this year. tonight should be perfect. you look absolutely beautiful in your outfit, us curled up on the shore as the waves roll in. my friends laughing, arguing over the grill. it isn't as bad as you thought it would be. i know you well enough to know when you're actually having a good time.
