it’s a week before christmas, and we’ve both been busy working as the holidays get closer. so tonight, when you came home and saw a seven foot christmas tree sitting in your living room, you were shocked. i told you i wanted to make sure the holidays were special this year, and i was going to make that happen. we spend the better part of the night covering the tree in lights and memories. and when we’re finally done, we collapse together on the couch, our arms wrapped around each other as we take in our work.
