We're back! Thank you all so, so much for your patience and support. Hooboy, did we need that break. Feeling MUCH better now. The world still sucks shit but we're gonna rock 'til we drop. Whether that's sooner or later, at least we won't stop.

So, some thoughts on this page: I had some worries starting this off with just a silent three panel page where nothing much happens beyond Suria lookin' at something. That's always the concern with webcomics - since they take time to produce and you want to keep people engaged and coming back week after week, there's a bit of incentive to make sure something happens every page - a joke, a boob pops out, somethin'. It's especially worrying for me as a writer, 'cause I don't want people to think I'm slacking and making Leslie do all the work! I write a lot about the emotions each character should be feeling in these scripts! But to really sell the reveal in the next page, we needed to give it some space. For the sake of pacing on a full chapter read through, we decided the chapter needed this quiet opening and just have this page focus on ambiance, the quiet after a heated argument, as well as serve as a contrast to a similar opening shot waaay back in chapter 2. That fisheye lens effect took Leslie forever to do back in the day, but with all the skills Leslie's picked up over the years, this kind of shot is WAY easier now.

We're also sticking with the brush that we started using at the end of the last chapter, so this was also a nice refresher and test for the rest of the chapter. This is going to be one of our most ambitious chapters yet, so good to have a bit of warm-up. Don't worry, won't take long to get to the real fun stuff.
