So, Louisiana doesn't really have seasons. Most days, it's just hot and humid. Leaves don't change color, we don't get snow, and even in January, you can still go out in shorts. It felt a bit stagnant. So imagine our surprise when we move up to Portland and experience an actual fall, with leaves changing colors and a nice chill that actually requires you to dress warmly! The leaves changing and the greys in my own beard got me thinking, and it wound up in this comic. Leslie was also a big fan of this one, of course.
