I agree he is bearing burdens, but all the decisions are up to him because he made it that way by refusing to keep the council in the loop.

Ruby didn’t trust Ironwood. - Yang wants to trust Ironwood. Blake does not agree with Ironwood’s policies.

I really wanted to like Nora's outburst but its both out of character and a complete slap in the face of Ironwood. I agree martial law would make matters worse for them, but to say Ironwood is not bearing any of the burdens is a disingenuous thing to say. All of the decisions are pretty much up to him to decide, making decisions that affect tens of thousands of lives is never easy and can grind a person's will to nothing.

You sound confused about Ironwoods plans. He wants to tell Atlas and Mantel first and his whole army is there to defended from the Grim, then after that then he's going to tell the world and send his army out to help defend each area that he tells. He's not going to tell the whole world at the same time. Communications is still down because the Beacon tower so they need to reconnect communications as wells as tell everyone about Salem but yes at pockets at a time.

But it makes no sense, if he is only transferring the product, the fruit of his soul to Penny then he shouldn't have a problem, his soul can just 'recharge' the aura like everyone else does. He has to be literally transferring his soul for him to be affected like that.

I would like to just say that yang and Blake telling Robin about the secret communication plan is stupid. They didn't trust Ironwood to tell him about Salem and the relic, but trust this random politician enough to give away a secret that if Salem knows about then it can be stopped. *Sigh*

Yes, in the intro the Staff of Creation appears behind Monty Oum's name, the creator of the show ;)

Aura is the manifestation of one's soul. So it's not actually their soul, but it's kinda produced/projected by it
