News for the coming days
Added 2020-02-07 23:51:53 +0000 UTCCommunicating among multiple websites is hard. Once again I'm saddened by what Tumblr went and did, otherwise I wouldn't have the problem that I've got right now.
So here's the deal.
I have an original comic property that, after sitting on it for a couple of years, I want to finally begin. I have a story mapped out for it. It would be in the form of a web manga, with a page an update, twice every month.
My biggest issue right now is Hosting. I was actually planning on just using Tumblr to create a seperate dedicated site, just for it... but that was BEFORE the NSFW ban and subsequent mass migration. A year later on from that, and I think I'm gonna have to do the initial releases on Patreon, at least at first. Once I can actually buy a domain, we'll see if I can direct everything towards it.
Finally... I may change my name and brand. You've all known me as Flash Equestria or Milky Way, but neither of those are really good standalone studio names. What I've been considering doing, is taking up the identidy of my one Space Unicorn. A select few of you are already quite familiar with her.
My previous projects, mainly Milky, won't be going anywhere. And I'll still be taking on Flash commissions. Anthroquestria may take a hit, but I'll be hanging onto the rigs, and they'll always remain a commission option. But if I ever want to finally break out in some manner, and find the success that other simple web projects, such as One Punch Man and Girl Genius have found, I'm going to have to start somewhere.
What might this story be? Well... if you like giant robots, cities on the edge of barren wastes, rag-tag police departments struggling to maintain law and protect the people, and ace pilots who defy gender norms... then I think you're gonna want to stay tuned...
