You actually saw the first effects on the wife back on pages 44 and 45, where she walks past Kathy and her mother. She's also Kathy’s teacher—and her transformation is the next one coming up. As for the husband, he’ll continue to show up here and there as well. I introduced both of them specifically for these recurring appearances in the comic.
