An update for those not on Discord...

I'm late and I notice maybe people didn't call me out on it because I DO keep posting new stuff regularly on Discord but progress has been slower than usual so I felt the need to address it since a 'proper' release hasn't happened yet. Product Recall should've been out a while ago and the next Malpractice chapter should've been this last month. For one thing, Product Recall has about 4-5 renders left before I can put it out so I'm shooting for before the weekend is over. Now, I will be pushing back Malpractice just a bit to cover this latest month's content with my once-in-a-while "Leticia's on the verge of burnout" break with some one-offs. This is my month where I let go of the complicated stories and the bloated casts and focus on single images. It's those months where I sometimes learn something new or refine things a bit.
Mostly, it's that I don't have the brain power for it this month. Most of the time, I start the month with an idea of the big events I want to cover in the chapter and build around it. This PR chapter was odd, where I had the idea but the minutia of the scene escapted me for a while until I finally knew where I was going with it. So there's a little bit of burnout that came from this chapter only.
But more importantly, there's been more distractions than usual this month. A few good social outings with friends and unfortunately, my father being in the hospital for the past 2 weeks (not fishing for sympathy here, it didn't come as a surprise and I've been slowly grieving for the past few years already. Parkinsons/Alzheimer double wammy. They are shit diseases and they can go fuck themselves) so it has come with its own mix of family dinners and important conversations. So I need something light (har har) to catch up to what I owe you all.

Surprisingly, no one has rushed me. This is self-inflicted :/ Just the way I am. I am eyeing an actual vacation eventually however where I will truly take a break if only for half a month.

Your health comes first. It's a shame, but everyone has to understand that. And those who don't understand will surely quit. But I hope you can do without them. Please don't let yourself be rushed!
