i have a fondness for daryl. you have to befriend him to get access to leia the mermaid, which i did do back in the day. it's really funny conceptually to conduct a romance in this guy's basement. what's really Really funny is he's not even a rival for her affection. the only character he actually cares about is flora. and he's not even a rival for HER. this guy is just peak loser.
there is probably some of his DNA in characters like touma and dr arbor.
