Nice one! I can’t wait to see the pro-shot version of this (probably from the O2 show). To answer your questions: 1). Poppy’s vocals, to me, are just enough “nails on the chalk board” for me to love it, but not overboard for me to hate it. 2). Su always sings live. The only exceptions are for very specific segments, where it is obviously back tracked (sometimes, she doesn’t even lip-sync). Examples: Karate, the girls fall on the ground, Doki Doki Morning, they lay down to “sleep”, Su’s harsh scream in iine!, Metali intro where she engages the crowd, etc. 3). I can attest to Su’s vocals live: Having been spoiled by so many Pro-Shot concert BluRays before my 1st show, I was worried about how I would feel about Su’s actual vocals at my DC show last year. She DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! She sounded every bit as incredible, live, on scene, with un-doctored audio from the venue. 4). Moa/Momo have much heavier use of backing tracks and lip-sync. My hope is that Momo is still training to do harsh screams live. We forget, she has only been vocally active with Babymetal since 2023. And, while she’s had experience with SG and musicals, this will be really the first time for her to do any harsh. I rather her take her time to perfect it live to pull it off, versus rushing and damaging her chords. 5). When does Kami band play on collabs: “Artist” ft. Babymetal - Babymetal does not play the other “artist’s” song live. Babymetal x “Artist” collab - Kami will play for Babymetal’s set, and “Artist” band will play for theirs (e.g., Ratatata, respective bands takes stage for their sets). Babymetal ft. “Artist” - Always Kami Band. 🤘🦊🤘🦊

2025-05-26 14:35:58 +0000 UTCYou should know by now that Su-metal's vocals are always live (and the parts in some songs where they're not, like when she is behind the mask in Megitsune or the "parapapa" parts in Gimme Chocolate are very obvious). Whoever told you Poppy was doing more than the screaming in this song, even in the official video, was wrong. They are filming the O2 concert, if there is going to be an official live video for this song that is the most likely place it will come from.

As I told in the comment to the previous reaction I was wittness of that unforgettable performance and the participation of Poppy was a total surprise for all of us. Maybe they will repeat it at O² London May 30., because it will become a special event with live-broadcasting around the world Of course Su is singing live and at that evening you can hear it clearly because her voice was not in the best condition, so she missed the notes in some little moments, What doesn't make the show less enjoyable and is absolute understandable because she is human as we all (even when she is still a goddess for me).
