Minecraft loads textures after placing them on this atlas, as my textures' maximum res is 1024x you can already calculate the number of textures that I can technically create. If it reaches above that, the game would either crash while loading or give a resource pack load fail error. Now I'm very close to this limit and hence I wanted your opinion on this.
- Do you want lower resolutions but more blocks?
- Higher resolutions but with fewer blocks?
Keep in mind, that if I keep the max resolution on 512x, I'd have space for 4 times the current space I have in the atlas in Minecraft.
It is my kind request that you place your vote and help me decide better.
