this is a weird one but the season gets much better very soon!

Cordelia was "almost kidnapped." Well, she's already been kidnapped and hung upside down this season, and kidnapped and sliced with a scalpel last season...

I'm sorry. I did not mean to brag or boast. I always think through my comments carefully and if I had anything in here to ruin her viewing experience, I apologize. I was just trying to have a conversation about certain elements of the show. I changed my initial comment to make it much safer. Feel free to respectfully give me feedback on how it's worded. Again, I apologize.

I'm sure someone else has mentioned by now, but just wanted to explain that vampires don't really come FROM the Hellmouth, they are just drawn to it. There are vampires all over the world.

You’re right; people shouldn’t even say that there is “foreshadowing.”

Why on earth do people always need to post these "ooohhhh I'm not gonna say it but hint hint there's some clues in this episode for later hint hint" comments like honestly just let her watch the show for herself. We get it, you've already seen the show. We all have. Alley hasn't.

This is my least favourite episode I think, but as other people said, even the worst ones still have a lot of good stuff in them.

This episode may not overtly set up anything...but I'm curious to hear your end-of-season thoughts on this one. As we've seen from your season one wrap-up, some episodes are better than you remember after you've had time to think about them.

I once had a dream I was Buffy's boyfriend but she was also Jack Bauer's daughter so not only vampires and monsters did we have to deal with but also terrorists lol.

Joss/the show loves to pay homage to the classics, Frankenstein, Dracula, others not to be named yet. : ) Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. I like the concept of this episode, I personally feel that when compared to others it falls short, mainly from and acting standpoint of Daryl and Chris. However, that is what I love about this show, even the weaker episodes are still entertaining as hell.
Your reactions definitely pep up my week, and I can't wait for you to get farther into the show! Looking forward to next Tuesday/Wednesday!!!

Anyway, I have two fun facts for this episode, before Buffy, Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia) was a professional cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers, the second is that the old science building that gets burned down this episode is the only part of the school that remained after the earthquake of 1937. The same earthquake that trapped The Master.

I've had dreams where I was part of Buffy's gang. Unfortunately, I also had a dream where I was a vampire and they were hunting me.

Ah, the Bride of Frankenstein episode. There's so much that I could say about Angel's tan jacket.
