Back in action + Vore Scene Audio!

Hey everyone, I'm back and recharged after my break! I'm still easing back into things and will need to do the full outline for Day 11 still so I wouldn't expect a proper dev build until late in the month, but! I have a little surprise experiment to share.

With some help from the lovely Ssublissive (check out her work if you haven't, it's great!) I've been tinkering with adding audio to the vore scenes in the game! For now, it's exclusive to player-prey scenes and is very much still an experimental thing that may not end up making it into the final game, but I think it's turning out quite well and would like to hear your thoughts on it! If all goes well, I'll work on expanding the concept to have audio for all of the different interactive vore scene types, pred and prey.

This test build is not the full game, I'm actually reusing an old demo build from when the interactive struggle system was overhauled (so balance might be a little off from the current game since it's ~2 years out of date iirc, the audio is the main focus). Other scene types from that demo are still present but again, it's only player-prey scenes that have audio.

Let me know what you think!

It definitely has a few potential issues just on the technical side. For example, you will probably notice that the file for just this demo build with a handful of isolated scenes is over 6x larger than the latest full release of the game. That's because I directly embedded the audio files for maximum ease and compatibility, leaving the game playable as just a single(now giant) html file that should work on any device that can open the current game. But, I've already seen some hints that the Twine editor I use to make the game is not liking the huge file size and might start getting unstable if I push it further, and there's also a chance that antivirus software might start flagging the game as suspicious now since html files are generally not nearly this big. So this method may not end up being feasible to bring into the full game with even more audio packed in for other scene types.

I'll probably be trying out adding sound to player-pred scenes using external audio files instead as one last experiment before moving on to Day 11. I hope you enjoy this little test build!

Osmium, I have tried a few attempts at being prey with different preds. I particularly like the heart beat in the background. Maybe that could be sped up as the situation gets closer to your digestion (assuming the pred gets excited. Izumi seems to just relax her way to digesting prey). I also loved the massive belch upon digestion. That should be standard for all scenes, pred and prey. That bar-shaking troll belch should signify the fight is OVER.

It's in the works!

It's really good, although it would be great if they added pred scenes in the future.
