Progress Update!

Hello! Sorry for the long stretch of silence since the audio test at the start of the month, it was very unprofessional for me not to keep you in the loop while we're at a point where normal dev builds still haven't resumed. I have a bad habit of getting so focused on my work that I forget the obvious fact of "people don't know what you're doing unless you tell them" ^^;

The second audio demo for pred scenes I mentioned in the last post ended up getting pushed aside for now as outlining the Halloween Party became a much more intensive task than I anticipated. There were a lot of ideas and character moments specific to this event that needed to be compiled and refined to get the scope down to something somewhat reasonable without losing anything critical or too juicy to pass up. I'm not done with the audio concept though, don't worry! I'll definitely be revisiting it again later on and still hope to eventually bring it over to the main game.

As for the next day, the outline is finally complete! It's going to be very big--even doing my best to rein things in it's definitely going to be rivaling the size of Day 7 at the end of the first week, and unlike that day that had several notable scenes before Emma's party this one has 98% of it's content dedicated to the Halloween Party itself so it'll definitely feel like a bigger event regardless of how the exact numbers shake out in terms of content. There's a lot of really good stuff planned for this day that I'm excited to get to! Some unexpected faces getting the spotlight for certain scenes, some major characters getting a turn as both pred and prey for the first time, and proper dates spending the full night with nearly all of the romance options are in store! (Alice is the exclusion there because her content doesn't quite fit the bill, but most of her fans will still be very satisfied I think ;) )

I'm going to do my best to try and get a small dev build out tomorrow just to get the ball rolling, but if not it'll be next Friday at the absolute latest (UPDATE: It'll be next Friday!), and the usual bi-weekly schedule will resume from there! Sorry again that this phase ended up taking so long!
