Release notes: PSFX-Ambience 0.4.0

Thank you all so much, for your continued support - I’m staggered by your generosity!

This release for PSFX-Ambience includes some location recording from my summer in Wales.

First, the myth-laiden waterfall at Devil’s Bridge, layered with sounds of the ‘punch bowl’ rapids for a large-scale aquatic feature. Includes indoor and outdoor versions of 30s loops:

Then, I happened upon the bells of St Peter's Church, Carmarthen, ringing out across the town. Only after capturing the sounds did I discover its fascinating and mysterious history.

The church itself was first mentioned in records in the year 1110, and of its eight bells, four of them are the originals cast in 1722. Inside there is the tomb of Rhys ap Thomas, the Welshman believed to have dealt the killing blow to King Richard III with his poleaxe in 1485.

Additionally, legends say that Merlin’s mother lived with the nuns in this church!

Includes outdoor (close), outdoor (far away) and indoor versions of 30s loops:

Sadly I’ve not been able to clean up the horse and cart audio just yet. The metallic squeaks from the cart itself, along with some wind and undesirable bird song are preventing me from feeling happy to release it at the moment. I will keep working on it and may share my progress in the behind the scenes channel on the PSFX Discord.

Waveform Warriors and above can access the latest manifest link via the Master Post.
