Your Regularly Scheduled Programing
Added 2024-10-21 14:01:01 +0000 UTCWell, now that all the travel is behind me, and I've had a chance to visit my family for the first time in a long time, I am back. First and foremost, I am back to writing, which is good, because I burned a hell of a lot of backlog. I'm also making progress on the whole visa thing for Germany, so that's nice.
What's not so nice right now is Tenebroum. As all of you know I have finished writing the first book. Its due to be released with an audiobook in the very near future. In fact, the paperback is available now, and the audiobook is available on the 22nd. What isn't yet available, because of some internal screw up, is the ebook. Amazon's current position is literally that my publisher has the rights to publish the first 2, but the third one is in limbo.
It's very frustrating. So, while this is probably the result of that time back in February my book got pirated by AI pirates, it could just as easily be that there is already another version of Tenebroum somewhere on Amazon being sold by someone else that is claiming it for their own. I'm sure this will be resolved eventually, but I can't imagine it will be good for my launch numbers.
What can you do, right?
In more positive, or at least constructive news, I have also finished editing book 2 of Tenebroum. My goals for the immediate future look something like:
November: Finish editing Book 3 of Broken System
Launch a DaD Plus Tier
December: Finish editing Book 3 of Tenebroum
Finish working on covers for these and other books
Take DaD to 3 days a week.
It's a lot to do, but once I get back into the rhythm of things, DaD chapters will stack up pretty fast. When I have enough of them, I will create a new 20 ahead tier for $6/mo just like I have for Tenebroum, and then when I get to about 30 ahead (because I always need slack just in case) I will take that story to 3 chapters a week
So, ambitious, sure, but doable, I think. I plan to slow things down a little next year (in terms of new projects. Chapter release schedules will stay the same.) But I'll say more about that in a post in a few weeks after I've knocked out some of these goals.

Thank you for the update! I'm more of a DaD reader, it's great to see this story slowly picking up the pace. Best wishes in writing.
