November Billing

Patreon is basically now forced by Apple to change how creators bill patrons so that Apple can be greedy. No one's shocked by this, let's be honest here.
Apple is requiring that Patreon use their in-app purchasing system and remove all other billing systems from the Patreon iOS app by November 2024. This means that starting in November, new memberships purchased in the iOS app will be subject to Apple's 30% App Store fee.

So, my advice is that you don't use the iOS app for Patreon. You won't have to pay the fee that Apple will force upon you and it'll be the same as always.

Patreon has a strange way to inform their users Apple is now allowing (although forced by the EU) apps links to outside services. The 30% is here since the beginning of the App Store. Patreon was just, like many others, using loopholes to bypass these fees.
