A/N:
I'm late to the party, but I just watched the new Demon Slayer movie just last night.
Holy shit. Words can't express how good the movie is.
15/10, watching the movie is making me want to write something related to the series.

To be able to fit so many people in a single auditorium, this place sure is big. He counted at least a few hundred, yet it seemed as if there were a good amount of seats left free.
"To all you examinees here, welcome to my live show!"
In front of the stage, one person immediately drew the attention of everyone present. A very American-looking cosplayer with blond, crazy hair. Inoue blinked a few seconds before tilting his head in confusion... Who was this person?
[The Voice Hero: Present Mic.]
That doesn't help at all.
Also, this should be a great time to ask about it. What are Quirks, exactly? The lady manning the registration station clearly didn't mean my eccentric quirks.
[Superpowers. About 80% of people in this world have one.]
... Seriously?
[Seriously, seriously.]
So his fabricated one is "Armor Creation"?
[Specifically, you can create sets of armor by converting your lipids as material, but one of the downsides of your "Quirk" is that you can't control which can be used at a time.]
Huh, that's actually a valid reason behind how he's poofing the Kamen Rider suits out of thin air. Not bad at all, System.
"Well, since everyone should be here now, let's start the briefing! ARE YOU READY?!"
No one responded. Looking at the silent crowd, he awkwardly yelled back at himself.
"YEAH!"
Is this person's Quirk loud screeching? Man.
[It is.]
Huh, the more you know.
"Most of the things that I'll convey are already on the brochures, but I'll present the guidelines regardless. Now, you listeners will be participating in a 10-minute mock exercise in an urban city setting! You can bring whatever you want with you, as long as it is cleared by staff beforehand. After this briefing, you'll each head out to your designated test sites as stated on your temporary ID card given prior!"
"Each site is filled with three kinds of faux villains. By defeating each according to their respective levels of 1, 2, and 3, points are awarded! Use any method to disable them and earn points! That's the name of the game, listeners!"
Glancing at the brochure that was given again, Inoue mentally noted that there were actually four faux villains instead of the three that the emcee here was presenting, as seen by the silhouettes of four different figures in the picture attached.
Soon enough, a student with a very serious expression shot his hand up and asked about the very same thing.
"Excuse me! There appear to be no fewer than four varieties of faux villains on this handout! Such a blatant error, if it is one, is highly unbecoming for U.A. High, Japan's top academy! We, the future students, have come here with high expectations of being molded into model heroes!"
And before Present Mic could reply to his question, the serious student turned and pointed directly at a student with curly green hair.
"And you! You've been muttering to yourself the whole time. If you're here just for a field trip, then I suggest you leave U.A. right this instant!"
Hmmmmm... He felt like he should know who this scrawny-looking student was, but nothing came to mind. It's like déjà vu in a sense.
[The System ensures that it's nothing and that the Host should focus on his primary objectives].
... OK, weird, moving on.
"Alright, chill out. Excellent question from that examinee, though! That fourth faux villain is worth... ZERO POINTS! He's more of an obstacle; think kind of like a Thwomp! There's only one per site, a "gimmick" that'll rampage around in close quarters!"
There's no point in fighting that one then, noted. And... What are you doing, Kivat?
Inoue tilted his head over at Kivat, who was being snuggled by a group of teenage girls, squealing silently as one of them was crushing Kivat into her chest.
"B-Brother, help!"
Help him? As if his signal for help could be felt, the group of teenagers suddenly turned their heads simultaneously towards him, glaring at him. A shiver shot down his spine as he immediately looked away.
Yep, not pulling the pin on that grenade. Good luck, Kivat.
"That's all from me, folks! But before I leave, I'll leave my listeners with our school motto. The great Napoleon once said, "True heroism consists in being superior to the misfortunes of life." Go beyond your limits! PLUS ULTRA!"

After a quick trip using one of U.A. High's buses, all the examinees of City E were gathered outside the mock exercise destination, standing in front of a massive gate that guarded everyone into the exam site, waiting for the test to begin.
Looking around at the examinees, everyone seemed to have changed their clothes to something more comfortable to move in, yet here he was still in a school uniform. Though, it didn't matter at all since he was about to transform.
"By the way, why don't I feel any different? Shouldn't I have the bloodline of a Fangire that enhances one's physical capabilities?"
"It only works when I bite you; it activates the dormant Fangire blood within."
Kivat replied, flying next to him after somehow escaping his kidnappers once the students in the auditorium were dismissed. Inoue nodded, making sure that the Kibuckle around his waist was tied snugly.
"And... BEGIN!"
Present Mic's voice boomed from a tall tower miles away behind them. Inoue blinked at his words, trying to process the abrupt start to the examination.
"Eh?"
"Ino, run! The exam has started!"
Kivat slammed his body into Inoue's back, snapping him out of it as his body instinctively moved, running towards the gate that had seemingly opened in the midst of everyone's surprise.
A split second later, everyone else exploded into action, following suit as they started rushing into the urban city like moths to a flame.
As he ran deeper into the urban city, at the end of an intersection, a loud beep rang from his left, prompting him to turn in that direction as he saw a green robot with a red "1" painted on its body gunning towards him.
"Kivat!"
Skidding in place, he yelled as he stopped in his tracks, raising his arm to the sky.
"Let's do this, brother!"
Kivat yelled through their mental connection as the mechanical bat flew into his arm, shifting as he turned into an inanimate object. Catching with his left arm, Inoue placed Kivat on his free hand; a sharp sensation streaked down to his spine as Kivat bit him.
(GABU!)
The feeling was intoxicating. The amount of power surging from within surprised him as black, vein-like blood vessels started to surface from his arm to his face. Thrusting Kivat outwards, Inoue smirked.
"Henshin."
Flipping Kivat upside down, he secured the legs of the mechanical bat onto the perch of the buckle before latching him into the slot that was made to holster Kivat's body with a click.
In an instant, the waves from Kivat slowly formed a liquid-like bodysuit around Inoue as he started running towards the 1-pointer robot, solidifying into the iconic black and red armor as the robot entered his range.
"Haa!"
(CRUSH!)
The power behind his punch was so devastating that his single straight punch caused the robot's head to cave in like a pancake, sending the robot flying a few meters back before crashing into a building.
Breathing out with a slight growl at the end, he glanced at his clenched fist.
What power!
The sound of beeping behind him alerted Inoue of another robot's existence. This time, it was a robot with a red "2" painted on it. Similar to the previous 1-pointer in design, this 2-pointer now sported a cannon-fitted tail that had a laser sight attached, pointing straight at his chest.
Glowing an ominous orange, the cannon on its tail was about to fire when its target disappeared. Its camera then glanced down at the black and red armored Kiva, who had appeared in a crouch before—
(SLICE!)
Its torso got instantly sliced off before its programming could even comprehend what had happened, its parts falling to the ground like a pair of legos.
"Looks like the easiest way to deactivate them is to slice them in half."
Kiva, after pushing the 2-pointer away, noted to himself as he began to look around.
In this Kiva transformation, coupled with his Fangire bloodline, his senses were dialed up to an eleven, thus giving him a good sense of where most of the robots were in a mile radius.
Crouching slightly, he huffed as he exploded into action, his speed leaving behind a spider-crack on the tarred road as he flew towards the next robot in his sights.
It was time to bathe in robot fluids!
