As I was reading above, it seems like Rupture is some trouble, are you going to be able to continue it or is it in jeopardy, or worse...canceled?ππ° I was actually going to choose the NU goal in the pole, but really I just want it to continue, I donβt need new artwork, new writers, etc. As far as the next goal, on the last poll, I chose the updated realistic style ascension remake, but I also loved the idea of a realistic 19th century gothic storyline! I can just imagine how amazing the characters, storyline, and artwork would be!π€©

2019-10-29 20:55:36 +0000 UTCI reaaally wish that was the case, but it's like Netflix having only one show at a time. π The plan was to have completely different audiences for two games, so that both of them could take sustainable views. Didn't have to be super popular, just enough to be able to host them online. But even judging by the popular votes vs comments, you can see that NU has a vocal audience but very very low in numbers. (Which is what we call a vocal minority and it can be super difficult to understand for creators.) This happens very often with dress up games as well, if you check the comments you would see 100+ requests for male games, but then look at the pageview data, and male games are the lowest viewed games. That's because there is a great number of people who play but don't speak up. They are the deciding factor. Ultimately, they win the popular vote. Now, I will try going for a new more popular genre and a more popular art style game soon. If that doesn't get enough views either, I will reconsider the whole "having a few different game genres at a time" thing. But that is very unlikely, because even Calling Cipher gets more views than NU. And that game doesn't even have a Patreon exclusive version. In my opinion as a creator who has been doing this for a while, it's artwork + genre + my writing. But like I said, if it's anything else, we will see with the next game. π€ This is my number 1 stress source right now lol. I really want to make the free games format work. π’ p.s: I will literally cry because of Ethan alone. He is my first male MC, and I'm really attached to him.

2019-10-29 09:18:30 +0000 UTCI personally loved Noctis Umbra, especially NU: Rupture, and I thought your plan of finishing season one of Oathbreaker and then updating Rupture was a great idea because maybe trying to have the two series going at the same time was a factor in NU not getting as many views as OB? I completely respect your decision should you definitely choose not to continue it but I'll be sad to see the series go, especially since we got introduced to Ethan whom I personally adore. π

This happens very often, so I keep thinking is it my "no"s that have no weight or is this something that works often for other people? "If we keep asking eventually the person will say yes." Does "No is no" only work for sex? Its just really strange to me dont take it wrong! No offense. π

Nevertheless I really enjoy all of your mini-games, as long as they're included, I'm happy with literally everything you come up with β₯οΈ

It will probably be a surprise release when it's done. :) I have a lot of ongoing projects, but I don't talk about them until I have enough materials to show/update. Its been a really long time since there has been a "big" dress up game like there was for ascention. Especially since character creation isnt something thats super possible in game. Having a seperate game that you can create OCs or reimagine the characters in different situations would be really fun. Dress up games are a great way to imagine our own stories within these amazing worlds you create. So even if its not a "goal" i hope u will consider doing one for Oathbreaker β₯οΈβ₯οΈβ₯οΈ love everything u do

I was working on a voice acting thing at one point, but had to stop because of the game that I was doing it for kinda malfunctioned on me, so I'd love to give it a go actually

The amount of work required for a DA type (faces, races) would be pretty big so a good one for a goal. And since in the latest poll we can see that a lot of us are playing western RPGs it would definitely be a +.

Still bitter about the views. π€£ Could have done so much more in 1.5 month of 0 return... Anime style is popular, so I added the choice. But I'm not holding my breath.
