2019-10-22 21:31:28 +0000 UTCI play a bunch of those a lot, but voted for the story heavy games, because it's a common thread for me between both jRPGs, wRPGs, visual novels and adventure games I like the most. Like I'm not motivated by achievements, I'm motivated by uncovering the plot and character interactions and such and I really love how interactive storytelling can be used (I wrote my BA thesis on video game adaptations of Hamlet in the end even)
