Irwin's Journey book 3 - Release!

Hey guys!

So book three is back from the editor and proofreaders, and will be releasing as soon as I've gone over all changes. Probably September 1e. Things are going much faster than usual but I've had some things going in the wrong order. For those with the ability, if you could get me a shout-out somewhere, or let people know about it, that would be awesome!

The clock is ticking, and Irwin’s time in the safety of civilization has run out. His quest to save his family and world forces him back on the road. His destination? A hidden portal different from all others he has ever seen or heard about. It is said to be so dangerous that no one who has entered has ever come back.

Irwin, however, has no choice. The portal is his only chance to reach the Portal Gallery, the home of the ancient Smiths' Guild. This legendary nexus connects all things and holds the key to his survival.

Irwin knows the journey will be difficult, but he is about to discover that finding the Portal Gallery and stepping through the gates is only the beginning of his trial.

This series falls into the Progression Fantasy and Gamelit categories, but it also has many elements commonly associated with crafting and LitRPG stories.

I wanted to keep the fire / warm elements of the previous covers. This is a stylized version of a portal - it doesn't completely match the story, but as is normal with these things, wrangling AI is a horrible. Luckily, as you will read below, this will be the last time for that as my covers should be man-made going forward.

As I've mentioned, this is likely my final self-released book in the Irwin series for the foreseeable future. By the end of the year, all three books should be re-released by my new publisher. They will also handle things like covers, audiobooks and getting the books on Kindle Unlimited. This means I'll have to remove the first three books from both RoyalRoad and Patreon before the re-release.

As a thank you to my current patrons, I will provide you all with cleaned-up e-book files (e-pubs) of those same books. This is a one-time offer that I can't extend to new patrons once the books are on Kindle Unlimited. Therefore, new patrons who read this in the future won't be able to request these e-pubs from me.

That said, if everything goes according to plan, I will do this for my the next books as well. When Book 4 is ready in a little under a year, I will provide you with a cleaned-up e-pub of the draft I send to the publisher. The same rules apply as with the first three books: I won't be able to offer this after the official release to avoid issues with Amazon.

One caveat: It's always possible that things don't work out as planned. In that case, I will let you all know.
