March Poll!
Added 2024-03-04 23:23:16 +0000 UTCHiya everyone! Here is March's poll based on suggestions from comments left on previous poll posts here on Patreon. Thank you for so much variety in your entries. Please feel free to leave a comment on this post of a film you'd like me to include in the next poll, and I will choose at random from requests! This will help me keep better track of recommendations because sometimes I get a lot.
P.S. As always, if your movie doesn't get chosen (maybe it is more niche or lesser known), it will still remain on my list that I keep currently. I will do my darndest to get to it eventually!
Note: I am trying to limit the amount of very popular/frequently covered films this month, just so that there is more variety and it can give me a chance to cover ones that I normally wouldn't (or ones that aren't on the list). Oh, and for whatever reason, we've got more films from 1997 than usual this month; not sure what that's about!๐

2024-09-14 19:58:16 +0000 UTCI have a ton of movies to recommend so its hard to boil it down to just one, since I want to avoid bombarding you with a long list. Since all your movies so far have been in English, I think I will recommend you an excellent Korean film called "The Man From Nowhere" from 2010 (Original Korean title is "Ajeossi" which roughly translates to Mister). Its like a proto John Wick, even a few elements from the film were used as inspiration by the filmmakers who made Wick. Should be perfect for you since you have seen the first 2 John Wick films so you can actually do a bit of comparison.

2024-06-27 07:35:59 +0000 UTCI saw you mention in the Tropic Thunder reaction that you've never really watched Ben Stiller before so I would definitely recommend Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers

2024-03-14 09:06:13 +0000 UTCDang, wish I'd been able to renew in time to vote Grosse Pointe Blank. Haven't seen Contact in a long time so that'll be interesting. Glad to be back!

2024-03-14 09:00:04 +0000 UTCNone of these boring movies. Try something new. Would love to see your reaction of some cute bunnies in Watership Downs. If Contact wins.... I am out.... actually, if most of these movies win.... I am out. They are so boring, mundane, and drull.

2024-03-14 08:13:57 +0000 UTCHi ๐ ๐ Hey, I need to apologize. I got 2 Great Films mixed up. Duh ๐ One is called simply "PI". It is an excellent film about a recluse Genius (hmm ๐ค maybe so ๐ง) trying to uncover the key to unlocking, and understanding the operation of the Universe. The other movie is called "The Life of PI" (Yup, I'm sure ๐). This is the fantasy movie I mentioned. It's so well-made, and the Cinematography is beyond belief. Both movies are critically acclaimed and more than worth the cost of popcorn ๐ฟ and a soda ๐ฅค. You can't go wrong whichever one you choose ๐คฉ๐ ( 'Kay 'Kay??) Please forgive me Beautiful ๐๐ฅน๐นโ๏ธ

2024-03-09 01:49:13 +0000 UTCThe only ones I know of are "Apocalypto" and "Contact" so I voted for those, never actually seen them but they both seem like good flicks ๐ If you haven't seen them I'd recommend: - "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective" (1994) for the funnies. - "2001: A Space Odyssey" (1968) for the mysteries. Edit: Sorry if my previous comment was too detailed and/or too long, just realized you might of thought it was spoilers so I slimmed it down (I would never spoiler you). Sometimes I just get carried away, especially after a few drinks ๐

2024-03-05 04:11:50 +0000 UTCI think you should do one for Lost Boys 1987.... or salems lot 1979
2024-03-05 01:23:47 +0000 UTCI think you should give a Clint Eastwood a try. Some suggestions are Dirty Harry (1971) Unforgiven (1992) Every Which Way but Loose (1978) and Pale Rider (1985) for a start.
