If you want to see a funny funeral, check out "Death at a Funeral" (2010).

OK, even before the movie starts: 'the fuzz' is one of the many slang terms for the police in the UK. They're not sequels, no. Lot of the same cast, same writers/directors... through-gags, but story-wise, unrelated. Legs. I get leg cramps.in my calves usually. Had really bad cramp in both legs when I woke up the morning I was checking out of a hotel once. THat wasn't fun. Also get it in my chin, weirdly. those are brief, thankfully. Ok... post film (pausing you and Amazon and keeping synched is difficult, so...)... These won't necessarily be in the right order, more as I remember things you mentioned/seemed confused by etc... The 'skip' thing is a gag... the thing they jumped into is called a skip here in the UK. If I remember, when you commented on the weird houses... a lot of cities, town and villages will have shops with residences (Or other businesses, offices etc... usually) above. Also, it's clearly an old village, so the buildings are likely 14-1500s or so. The place at the end was the model village. you saw the sign. That's why Andy said Nicolas should 'f*ck off up the model village' if he wants to be a big cop in a small town. Oh, and the very, very short chase was (I think) the 'shortest movie police chase', purposefully, to contrast the super long ones in American action movies. When Frank says 'crusty jugglers', he's more being literal than insulting... they were actually jugglers, which the NWA found irritating. You saw their crusty corpses when Nicolas fell into the ... crypt( maybe..?) at the castle near the end. It must actually be difficult acting that badly if you're actually a good actor. Fun though, I imagine. Ok, putting a clip of the 'bad acting' whilst complimenting the acting? Well done. That made me chuckle. Nono, me too... I think a lot of people thought that. But fantastic call-back to the ketchup pack trick from earlier instead. Though would've been different if Nicolas hadn't realised or thought to go along with it. It's like Andy said, innit... every farmer and his mum was packin' round there. .. as we saw. - Everything... everything in these movies pays off. Movies I'm sure you far from minded re-watching, catching those more and more each time. Oh... if you watched Game of Thrones... the actor who plays Michael? The Hound. Yarp... same actor. That's some range! Agreed, Twister's a good movie. The similarities are all in the editing and the call backs - like the garden shortcut. One important question... Do you think Nicolas Angel would've made a great Muppet? More serious question, how many times did you think 'Wait, that's [person] from that other thing I know!' ? And no, everyone loves Hot Fuzz. You're not weird. ... I mean, you are, but not for that, and in a good way. btw, your hair's really long! Wow!

For the longest time, I never noticed that the reverend is played by Paul Freeman who also played Belloq from Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Patrick Toscano

100% recommend. A great series.

Ian Forbes

You mentioned wanting a show with the same director, writers and cast... that would be "Spaced" with Edgar Wright directing, Simon Pegg writing and Simon and Nick Frost starring.

This is one of my favorites, can't wait!
