It's sad we can't all experience a magical matchup early in life. It's all the mismatches that make the love life of SO many so stressful, discouraging, and depressing. 😮💨 And even beautiful women aren't immune to that malady. I remember having a MASSIVE crush on Toni Tennille. Way back in '75 when she first became famous. I was 14, she was 20 years older. I DIDN'T CARE. I would have MARRIED that woman if I had been allowed that privilege. And I would have been the happiest young man that ever lived! She was WONDERFUL. And STILL is, in her old age. Sadly she admitted that her long marriage to "The Captain" was a loveless one. He was never physically affectionate. She would have been better off with me. I would have covered her in kisses, everyday of her life. He must have had a mild case of autism. From what I understand, they don't like to be touched.

A fun late 60's / early 70's skit show that parodied the hippie culture and politics of the time. "American Pie" is the only other one that immediately comes to mind, although like "40-Year-Old Virgin" you'd never guess that from the film's title or premise.

This happened not long after my booger trauma, but had the potential to be even MORE traumatic than THAT. I was still 16 when these 2 younger girls started coming up to ride the Skyway where I worked. They kept coming back over and over to flirt with me. One looked older than the other and she was really cute, so I asked them to meet me at the Screamin' Eagle after my shift was over. We were in line to ride when I started to get the sense that the cute one who LOOKED like she was 14, might have been a year younger, so I asked her age. Turned out she was only 12! 😱 I immediately aborted my plan to hook up with her. A 2 year difference was no big deal, but it felt too creepy knowing she wasn't even a teen yet. I decided to go ahead and ride with her, and then say something like well that was fun, but I got to go home now. I was just about to say that while walking out the exit, when this absolutely GORGEOUS girl saw us, approached and said "What are you doing with my SISTER?" I was in SHOCK, because I had seen this girl before, but was too afraid to even talk to her. She looked like a 22 year-old Playboy centerfold model. I had always thought she was out of my league. But it turned out SHE was the one who was 14. WOW these girls developed EARLY. I managed to calm her down and saw it as an opportunity to make the switch to the more age appropriate girl. So I suggested we ride the Highland Fling which was nearby. This was a spinning ride with tiny 2 seat compartments. I tried to climb in with the older girl, but she wouldn't go for it. She stopped me and said "You 2 take that one." So I was stuck with the 12 year-old. To add even MORE drama to the trauma, I started getting motion sickness. The girl was pressed up against me from the centrifugal force of the ride. Her head was right below my chin, and I'm thinking "Oh SHIT, I'm gonna puke ALL OVER this girl."🥵 I started screaming silently to myself, STOP THE RIDE, STOP THE RIDE. That damned operator let it run TWICE as long. Must have been a full 5 minutes. I'm in a full-blown PANIC.😵💫 FINALLY, I felt it slow down and come to a stop. By some MIRACLE I managed to keep my composure, and psych myself into not spewing. Wildest ride of my LIFE. 😵 I managed to successfully hookup with a few of my female coworkers the next 2 summers. The kicker to this story? One of my male coworkers apparently had no qualms with the age difference. Not long after my wild ride, I saw him making out with the 12 year-old! 🤯
