Mythic 6.0 Updates Continue

When moving the vehicles over to the new, cleaner tables, I ended up doing a LOT more work than expected. Let's get into these changes.

First, here are the new tables. This page is a good one because if shows off a few new things. First, I've bit the bullet and made the missing foress-scale vehicles like the Draugr, Prowlers, and Kraken. Second, the new tables themselves. And third, the walker overhauls.


Walkers now work like pseudo-Characters and now have a lot more options available to them, including new rules specific to walkers. 

I've added A LOT of vehicles that were missing, as well. Even your standard HCE Wraith wasn't there. Now it is.

Covenant vehicles now have their canonical names with their nickname. So the Wraith from Halo 3 would be called "Muz-pattern Mortar Tank Wraith." This will help people know and more easily tell the many types of vehicles apart while still knowing that the vehicle is still a Wraith.

So we have Kraken, Muz Wraith, Wuchek Spectre, Harvester, Draugr, a new Spirit, a new Seraph, the D102 Owl, a new Banished Wraith, a new Banished Banshee, several new Covenant Banshees, the Banished Spirit Gunship, and the Winter-Class Prowler. 

Oh and a good handful of new weapons had to be added for some of these vehicles. So now you have even MORE choices. As if there weren't enough already.


I also updated and rebalanced almost every single Covenant and Banished vehicle. An awful experience.


AMMO COST TABLE

And now onto the thing that nearly broke me. An updated ammo pricing table. And it was ONLY for the UNSC.

I had to go through every single UNSC weapon, double check their ammo types, and then use a new tool to get a price per 100 rounds. You can buy less or more than 100, but 100 is the default going forward. 5 of these ammo types aren't bought in 100s, but just per single batter/tank.

This was soul-shattering and took HOURS upon HOURS to complete, and then I had to do it for all of the expansions. But hey, no more missing weapon ammo types and everything is priced based on what ammo is capable of and not just a random number like before.


COMPENDIUM

A lot of the work that's been done has been compendium work. Filling tables, updating tables, refilling tables, checking over tables, filling tables. Columns and rows, one after another. Endless amount of information.

But hey, now you guys will have automated compendium tables for Abilities, Vehicles, Weapons, etc. It was just a ton of work to fill these tables and get all this information in one place, which originally was not in the spreadsheets used to assist making these games. Man it sucked. I'm at the part of development where everything sucks.


DISCORD AND PROOFREADING

Due to the lack of recent feedback, I've been working on changes towards older relic systems and honestly that kinda worries me that there might be bugs and issues coming from it. Because of that, I've asked the community to proofread. While only a couple people have given proofreading feedback, it's already been a major help. One of the issues found was enough grounds to have had me release an updated edition. Thank god for the help.
