Nurture v nature is, I think, like most things, way too simple an idea and depending on the argument you'll hear people from all political wings change which way they argue depending on the issue, they'll just flip. There's a popular phrase spouted a lot on the internet "science doesn't care about your feelings" and it's one of those stopped clock being right twice a day situations, yeah on that point you are right...but not for the reasons you are saying it. There are, almost without exception, not hard lines in nature, everything is messy and blurred (nurture/nature, sex, gender, sexulity) because everything just has to be "good enough", there is no "perfect". Nurture and Nature are both important, sometimes more one, sometimes more the other but ultimately unless people are hurting themselves or others it doesn't really matter (though it's interesting to talk about and curiosity is a wonderful thing). We are what we are and its more important to try and do what makes you happy while also trying to make others around you as happy as possible...and always be tolerant and keep a sense of humour because you might think someone else's kink is weird but yours will probably be just at weird to them.
