People who've followed me for a long time know I go through extended bouts of inactivity. Some continue to support me despite that and it will always mean a great deal to me. The feeling of obligation to that support is always a great part of what eventually helps me return to drawing and contributing for this fandom.

But this year's downtime has been different.

It's just not coming back to me like it usually does.

I have put this off much longer than I should have. I was hoping that just one more week would be enough and then I'd find that spark again or get that inspiration and just boom, back to streaming and producing. But weeks become months faster with every passing year, and it is beyond past time to call it.

I'm pausing billing for my patreon indefinitely.

I'm not leaving the fandom or disappearing forever or any such thing. My real life has become more than I could ever have hoped for, and I am just enjoying it to the fullest now. It is my hope and intention to return to being a contributing member of this fandom and community someday, and with any luck, I will be doing so in a better capacity than I've been able to thus far.

I'm excited about so many things I'm going to be attempting while I'm away, and hope to have at least a few good things to share by the time I return.

The support and appreciation I have received from those of you who've followed my work and stuck by me through the years will always mean the world to me. I've fallen short of what I need to be doing in order to properly show that respect and gratitude. If any of my current machinations come to fruition, I can only hope people will accept them as a more fitting apology beyond just the words of it.

I'm sorry for being so absent for so long. I'm still going to be around and doing things, but a lot will need to change before I try a subscription billing model again. Even if I don't come back to this method of operation, I'll still be out there in some for or another. You can count on that.
